Select Resourcing was founded by 3 every strong entrepreneurs from the Recruitment, Payroll and HR & IR Industries with a combined experience of over 40years.

With their substantial industry experience and knowledge they decided to branch out and change the face of the Recruitment industry as it was typically known in South Africa.

Select Resourcing is an EME company which is 100% Black woman-owned. Select Resourcing is the answer in these difficult economic times without compromising on the quality of skilled resources.

Claire Smith

Managing Director

Although modest, Claire has led an interesting and illustrious career which accelerated when she was appointed Director at a renowned outsourcing company where she stayed for 15 years, after making her mark as Director for 8 of those years, she was headhunted by a prominent recruitment company where she headed up the Business Development division.

As is her nature, she absorbed new information like a sponge and grew to new heights both personally and professionally. She then decided to pursue a General Manager position where she could apply all her years of knowledge and experience before starting her own company, Select Resourcing. Now, Claire is not only just a prominent businesswoman, she is also a mother of 3 and runs an organized household, most days.

Her mantra is all about a balanced lifestyle and successfully manages her work life, home life, and spiritual life and finds time to teach, mentor, and groom the youth of her community.  Her positive outlook on life is infectious and she is determined to see the best in everyone she meets.
